Walled Garden Walking Tour

About

Step through the Venetian gates into the hive of history and horticulture which awaits within the six-acre Walled Garden.

Join your guide on a leisurely amble within the walls, passing through the kitchen garden, the cutting garden, the vineyard and taking a sneak peak into fascinating buildings such as the Messenger Glasshouse and Samuel Wyatt Vinery.

The Details

The tour will take place mainly outside, whatever the weather. Please dress appropriately. As we may be going inside buildings, dogs other than assistance dogs are not permitted on this tour. If you are arriving by car, please be aware that a parking charge of £5 applies (redeemable against purchases of £30 or over in our gift shop). The walled garden is approximately ¾ mile walk from the main car park - please allow plenty of time for your walk. There are a limited number of accessible parking spaces at the walled garden for those unable to walk this distance. The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes.
