I can’t believe it is summer again already! It won’t be long now before the children will be finished school and before I know it, Florence will be starting secondary school! I don’t know how to feel about being the parent of a secondary school student! Before I lose myself in existential dread, we have a couple of events in the calendar, including Father’s Day.
Last year I had a lovely Mother’s Day with the children in Cambridge, we spent the weekend paddle boarding, exploring museums and having a delightful cream tea. This year we’re having a more lowkey day but if you are on the hunt for things to do this Mother’s Day, here are some suggestions for a fun, heritage day out.
Valentine’s Day is almost upon us and although I, as a native Welsh person, like to celebrate on 25th January, I am always happy to bring more love and romance into my life. Sadly, this year, Mr Hudson will be away and Valentine’s Day falls within half term, I will be spending the day with my delightful children but if you want to explore some of the UK’s most romantic places – here are my suggestions!
