Veteran Tree Walk

About

Uncover the mystery behind veteran trees on Hardwick's Veteran Tree Walk. From trauma such as lighting strikes to missing limbs, these trees are far from being purposeless.

Guided by our expert Ranger team, be prepared to learn all about their high ecological importance; how to define a veteran tree; and how Hardwick is creating the next generation of veteran trees.

This enjoyable and educational walk will take approximately 2 - 2.5 hours and is 3.5 - 4 miles in distance.

Hot drinks and snacks can be purchased at the beginning and end of the walk. For the comfort of the group, please leave your dogs at home.
