Gear up for an exclusive journey to Broadway Tower, where history meets panoramic views and the finest flavours of the Cotswolds. From the breathtaking views from the top of the tower to the intriguing depths of the Cold War bunker, followed by a stroll through the charming Broadway food festival, this event promises a blend of exploration, education, and enjoyment.

Event Details:

Date: 15 September 2024
Meeting Point: Stratford Park Leisure Centre (Free parking available all day)
Departure: 8:15 am from Stroud by minibus
Cost per Person: £69 (Includes travel, tower and bunker tours, and morning coffee. Note: Additional food and drinks purchased during the day are not included.)

Schedule:

8 am - Gather at Stratford Park Leisure Centre for check-in.
8:15 am - Our journey begins! Departure to Broadway Tower by minibus.
9:30 am - Arrival at Broadway Tower. Kickstart the day with a welcoming coffee at the Tower Barn.
10 am - Embark on a self-guided tour of Broadway Tower. Enjoy the stunning views from the roof platform and immerse yourself in the rich history within the Tower Museum.
11 am - Dive into the Cold War Experience with a guided tour of Broadway Tower's Nuclear Bunker. A fascinating glimpse into history, fifteen feet below ground.
12 pm - Wander into Broadway village for the food festival. Indulge in local produce and savour the essence of the Cotswolds at our community picnic.
4 pm - Leisurely return walk to Broadway Tower.
5 pm - Departure from Broadway Tower, with a refreshing stop at a quaint Cotswolds pub to toast to our day of adventure.
7 pm - Arrival back in Stroud.
