This ancient custom is all but unique to Derbyshire. It's the art of decorating wells and springs with pictures made using only natural materials.

Adult Well Dressing at the Troughs opposite the Old Pump on Wellgate Lane, Junior Well Dressing in the grounds of the Village Hall on School Lane.
