Celebrate the festive season with us at Ightham Mote with a magnificent Tudor Christmas. With a lit fire, a Tudor feast and music of celebration there's lots for the whole family to discover and enjoy.
Get ready for some entertainment for the whole family at Ightham Mote this Christmas!
Imaginations will run free as your little ones rummage through our dressing up box and transport themselves back to a time of Kings, Queens, Knights and Ladies. Whatever they decide to be it’ll be sure to be a great opportunity to capture that perfect Tudor Christmas snapshot.
Lose yourself in the music of the past with our wonderful wandering musicians who will regale you with festive tales of Tudor England, set to the sounds of Tudor Court Music in our historic courtyard.
(Saturday 26 November, Sunday 27 November, Saturday 3 December and Saturday 10 December - 11:00am - 4:00pm)
We're also joined by groups of traditional Tudor dancers this Christmas. Learn more about the history of dance, court life and have a go at these dances yourself!
(Sunday 4 December and Saturday 17 December - 11:30am - 2:30pm)
