The Ottery St Mary Christmas Tree Festival is an annual celebration held in the beautiful Parish Church of St Mary. The festival showcases a stunning variety of decorated Christmas trees, alongside festive activities including carol singing, craft stalls, and seasonal refreshments.
Visitors can enjoy morning coffee and biscuits, lunchtime soups, and afternoon tea and cake throughout the event. The festival runs on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th November from 11am to 5pm, on Friday 28th November from 11am to 8pm, and on Saturday 29th November from 11am to 5pm, offering plenty of opportunities to soak up the festive atmosphere.
Organised by the Friends of St Mary’s Church, the festival is a key fundraising event, with all proceeds supporting the upkeep of the church and its community outreach programs, helping to keep this historic space vibrant and welcoming. A firm favourite in the local calendar, the Christmas Tree Festival attracts visitors from across the region. Entry is free, donations are welcome, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
