Our garden team has said: The Snowdrops at York Gate are rocketing out of the ground at a speed of knots. To ensure our visitors see them at their best, we will be bringing our snowdrop event dates forward.
We invite the general public to visit our stunning snowdrop displays at York Gate.
The delicate charm of our ever expanding snowdrop collection brings life to the garden introducing the new season.
Snowdrops have been a favourite at York Gate since the first three bulbs were bought by Robin Spencer for three shillings and six pence. These original bulbs are now naturalising through the Dell and Nutwalk. The original seedlings were selected from Samuel Arnott's garden in Dumfries, Scotland.
