About

Hovingham Hall is an attractive Palladian family home, designed and built by Thomas Worsley c1760. The childhood home of Katherine Worsley, Duchess of Kent. 

You enter the Hall through the unique feature of a large Riding school. The house has beautiful rooms with collections of pictures and furniture. There are attractive gardens with magnificent Yew hedges and a cricket ground where most of the great Yorkshire cricketers have played.

Guide Prices

We accept group bookings, of 15 people or more, for guided tours by appointment only - from April to September.

Admission price is £20.00 per person, minimum £300. To book a group tour please contact the Estate office.
