Scrooge! | A Recitation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol

About

Step into the spirit of a traditional Victorian Christmas with a special live storytelling of A Christmas Carol, set in the atmospheric Great Nave at The Monastery Manchester. Narrated by Finlay Tyson, this cosy afternoon event brings Charles Dickens' timeless tale of kindness, redemption and festive cheer to life.

Guests can enjoy the classic tale in two parts, with a warming interval featuring mulled wine or festive fruit punch and traditional mince pies (alcohol-free and vegan options available). With doors opening from 1:15pm, there's also time to explore the stunning heritage building and soak up the seasonal atmosphere before the reading begins.

This event is perfect for Dickens fans and families alike. Children aged 7+ are welcome.
