Kentwell Hall announces a new late autumn event. A captivating illuminated experience round the Hall's Gardens, open on selected nights throughout December 2024. A mile-long walk promises a magical journey, offering an unforgettable evening for the whole family.
Kentwell's Gardens, renowned for the beautiful House, ancient brickwork and moats, becomes a scene of enchantment after dark. The Walk offers a magical, immersive and reflective experience, with tasteful illuminations designed to enhance the serene atmosphere of the whole estate. "Our gardens are stunning in daylight, but they take on a truly magical quality when lit up at night," says Patrick Phillips, Kentwell Hall's Owner. "I wanted to create an experience that enhances the natural beauty of what Kentwell offers in an elegant and charming way."
Visitors will enjoy Kentwell's iconic blend of ancient trees like its towering Giant Cedars and espaliered fruit trees, and much carefully manicured topiary, from huge domes and towers to the Yew Castle and Pied Piper Story. All set against the background of historic brick buildings and shimmering moats.
The Enchanted Garden Light Walk will initially be open: • Friday 6th, Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th December • Friday 13th, Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th December • Friday 20th, Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd December. The Walk will last about an hour through the variety that the Gardens offer.
