Heritage Open Days - Meet Sir William Paston at St Nicholas Church

About

Come and meet Sir William Paston as he proudly explains the deisgn and heraldry of his tomb in the magnificent surroundings of one of the largest parish churches in the country. One of Norfolk's wealthiest men, Sir William had his tomb prepared two years before his death to stand as a monument to the great achievements of the Pastons. Sir William will then lead a guided walk to and around Paston College, the school he founded in 1606. Includes a chance to view memorabilia and the history of Horatio Nelson, the school's most famous pupil, and to find out more about this successful college.
