Tour of the Maltings Building, built in the 1840s and part of the Maltings industry of Wells. The building has been recently stripped out as part of the extensive redevelopment project, and visitors can view the heritage structure that lay beneath; huge timber roof beams and original Maltings machinery. The event takes place during the annual Wells Pirate Festival so your visit includes a free tour and immersive stories about Wells maritime past.
