About

Lamport Hall is delighted to be hosting a magical Autumn concert in aid of the Counties Heritage Foundation.

The internationally renowned Latvian Pianist, Antonina Suhanova will play with the acclaimed English Cellist, Leo Popplewell. Leo, a rising international star, studied at Clare College, Cambridge then at The Guildhall School of Music As an artist musician, this has been a busy year for Leo of recitals and performances, such as his performance with the London Mozart Players in Warsaw and then with the English Chamber Orchestra in Hamburg. On August 6th, he performed with The Sinfonia of London at the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall.

The concert itself will take place in the beautiful High Room, with pre-concert drinks and canapes being held in the Oak Room, which will lit by candlelight and warmed by log fires.

Programme:

Beethoven ~ Variations for cello and piano in E flat Major

Elgar ~ Chanson de Matin

Britten ~ Sonata in C Major

INTERVAL
