About
Large drifts of Daffodils area all about in March.
It's the season for parents and children to enjoy the gardens with massed snowdrops gradually giving way to drifts of daffodils. Elsewhere winter starkness shows off the the shapes of trees, especially the gnarled arms of the ancient, espaliered fruit trees in the Walled Garden standing like old men in line, The many yews and conifers add much colour too.
The fish in the moats delight everyone. Will our Greylag and Canada Geese visitors have returned? See Percy the Peacock and his wives roaming the manor.
Younger visitors can enjoy the Tudor Rose Courtyard Maze and explore the Yew Castle with its secret tunnels, along with plenty of other surprises.
