The Pheasant

About

The Pheasant forms part of the 2000 acre Kelling Estate, which sits in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.’ The Estate is a diversified business and includes the hotel, the Kelling Garden Centre, woodlands, holiday lets, long term residential Lets, horse breeding, as well as a productive farm.

The hotel is perfectly placed to explore the North Norfolk Coast, whether for birdwatching, walking the coastal path, playing golf, visiting stately homes and gardens, riding the North Norfolk Steam Railway or shopping. The Pheasant creates a friendly, relaxing environment where guests can enjoy a great stay, with good food and welcoming service.

Dining is either in the AA rosetted à la carte restaurant, with capacity for 100, or in the more relaxed recently opened Orangery. Private dining is also available in the 24 seat Kelling Room. Menus are seasonal and start wherever possible in the estate’s fields and gardens, with game dishes boasting an Estate to Fork ethos. Breakfast honey comes from the Kelling bee hives and jams from the fruits of the kitchen garden. 3 courses à la carte from £28. Orangery 3 courses from £26.

Attractions in the area include Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall, Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall and Sandringham, as well as the Thursford Collection and Our Lady of Walsingham church and shrine. Several golf courses nearby including Royal Cromer, Hunstanton. Sheringham and Brancaster.
