About

At the heart of Gilpin are a passionate family and team, dedicated to creating lasting memories for their guests, who return time and time again for celebrations and escapes. Warmth and friendliness are balanced with extraordinary service, exquisite décor and stunning culinary experiences at these 2 luxurious country houses spanning 2 estates in the beautiful Lake District.

All the bedrooms have lovely Lakeland views, most leading onto the gardens; 6 with their own cedarwood hot tubs and 5 with their own treatment area, steam room, stone bath, sauna and hydrotherapy hot tub. Just a mile away, 6 rooms enjoy exclusive access to 100 acres of grounds, private lake, boat house, pool, hot-tubs and spa.

Dine at either the Michelin starred HRiSHi, where Hrishikesh Desai combines great Lake District produce and classic methods to deliver unbelievable textures and fl avours (modern British cuisine with a twist), or at the laid-back Gilpin Spice, with its open kitchen serving tapas-style pan-Asian dishes.

DINING HRiSHi 4 course table d’hôte dinner £70; HRiSHi 3 course Sunday lunch £35; ‘Gilpin Spice’ lunch and dinner items individually priced.
