Consumer website Which? Has conducted a survey among its members to discover the UK’s best historic attractions – do you agree with the list?
According to Which?, the results of their survey has shown that people are keen to engage with their surroundings and that many are craving historical context to the places that they visit. Which? Members used a critera including value for money, facilities and how crowded each place was to make their choices.

With an overall score of 88%, Fountain’s Abbey in Yorkshire and Royal Yacht Britannia came in at joint first place. Which? Travel editor, Guy Hobbs, said about the survey: “This year two very different by equally impressive historic attractions topped our survey and it’s easy to see why.
