Facebook donates £1m to save Bletchley Park

Bletchley Park has been saved from potential closure after receiving a £1m donation from social media giant Facebook. Closure due to Covid-19 has meant that a large proprtion of their revenue for 2020 has been lost leaving the site on the brink of financial disaster.

The historic visitor attraction in Buckinghamshire has a unique place in history as the centre of Allied forces code-breaking during World War II and was recently recognised at the UK Heritage Awards, taking home the Must Visit and Best of Heritage prizes.
