Beaulieu, Hampshire

The beautiful grounds and gardens of Beaulieu are now open to visitors to explore including the parkland normally reserved for large events, providing ample space to safely enjoy a day out together.

For this exclusive period, visitors will also be able to wander through areas of Lord Montagu's private gardens surrounding Palace House, and there will also be some beautiful vehicles from the National Motor Museum's collection on display.

To ensure the safety of both visitors and our staff, numbers will be limited to 500 each day. Visitors must pre-book their admission tickets online for a specific visit date and arrival time.

Please see the new Visitor Safety Promise and Frequently Asked Question section on the Beaulieu website for any information you may want to know before you visit.

The National Motor Museum, Palace House, World of Top Gear, Abbey and Secret Army exhibitions will remain closed until the Government issue further guidance on the opening of indoor attraction spaces. Little Beaulieu will also remain closed until it can re-open safely for younger visitors.

Castle Howard, North Yorkshire

Castle Howard Gardens are now open to members and the public.

Booking is now entirely online and all visitors (including Friends of Castle Howard) are asked to book an arrival slot so that the capacity of visitors coming through the Stable Courtyard can be managed, enabling social distancing measures to be maintained.

Upon booking an arrival time, visitors will be emailed a barcode and booking reference number. Please bring this on the day of your visit to self-scan at the Ticket Office (and membership cards too if applicable).

In the first weeks of opening the focus is on reopening the gardens for visitors, with limited facilities, however these will be phased back in over the coming weeks and will only re-open outlets when systems, risk assessments and team members are in place, and trained up to operate each outlet safely.

The House and Adventure Playground remain closed at the present time.
