Agnes Hughes would like to invite you into her Tudor home...This living history tour will take you back in time to 1580, where Agnes, a Tudor housewife, will reveal her life and daily routines as you wander through the home she shares with her husband, Thomas.
Hear Agnes talk about her childhood on a tenant farm, and of how she came to live in Tewkesbury as a merchant's wife. You will see where Agnes sleeps, learn about a curfew, a trencher, and you may even get to see a Tudor ensuite! Okay, a piss-pot but there is a story behind every object.
Agnes looks forward to meeting you…
