New Vic Theatre 'Stealing Dreams' Project

About

The community outreach sessions will include Vox-Pop interviews with young people and members of the public about their concepts about knife crime, their concerns and fears, their understanding as to why it happens and what measures can be put in place to reduce/distract from it.

Other community outreach sessions planned to take place in outdoor settings include Geography of Crime interactive engagements using large blank 'monopoly boards', blank community chest/chance cards and miniature props. This activity allows participants to use the board and props to create scenarios where they identify the who, what, where, and why knife crime (and other concerns) occur. This is a hands on activity and through the activity important discussions are captured and explored.

Seesions are suitable for age 12+
