Calling all squirrels! Hey Duggee is one of the happiest, most fun shows on kids TV and the Epping Ongar Railway is delighted that it’s huggable star, Duggee, will be visiting them at the begining of July.
Duggee will be making appearances throughout the day on 30 June at the times shown below, so fans have the chance to see him. Be sure to come and say hello and don’t forget your camera! A-WOOF!

Duggee appearances
Appearances take place at Ongar station.
Join our vintage London bus service from Epping station, to North Weald. At North Weald there is chance to purchase some refreshments from our LNER Cafe, before joining the heritage tran to Ongar for a break of approximately 90 minutes, to see Duggee. Also at Ongar, you can see a magic show with our resident magician, John Clayton, and follow the clues to find the pictures of animals hidden around the station.
The train will then return you to North Weald where you can return to Epping on board the vintage London bus.
Times
The heritage steam train will depart from North Weald, for a journey through the Essex countryside, at the following times. This will take you to Ongar where you will be able to see Duggee.
Train 1: 10.50
Train 2: 12.00
Train 3: 13.10
Train 4: 14.20
You should allow approximately 2 hours for the train journey and the opportunity to see Duggee.
You must travel on the booked train to Ongar.

Our heritage diesel multiple unit will be operating shuttle trains making a return journey into the ancient Epping Forest, offering drivers eye views! You can travel on this service before, or after, your steam hauled journey for no extra charge. You cannot join or alight from this service at Epping Forest as these is no platform here.

Appearances take place at North Weald station. There is no parking available at the station, except for blue badge holders. Epping Ongar Railway recommend travelling via the Central Line (journey time to Epping is just 30 minutes from Stratford) or parking at Epping Underground station (parking charges payable) or in public car parks in Ongar and using their free connecting heritage bus service. You can find the bus timetable here.

Epping Ongar Railway resident magician, John, will be on board the train with lots of tricks to keep you entertained during the journey, and there will be other on-board activities too.
At North Weald
Join the heritage steam train service to see Duggee.

Our gift shop will be open with a wide selection of souvenirs for sale, as well as a selection of Hey Duggee merchandise.
The LNER Café will be open offering a range of hot and cold drinks and light refreshments to take away.

Follow the clues and find the pictures of animals located around the station.
Hot and cold drinks and light refreshments will be available from the Buffet Stop cafe.
Hot Food will be available from Hopleaf, our catering concession.
Our gift shop will be open.
For an additional charge a balloon modeller will be creating balloon animals for you to take away.

The following great value fares apply.
Train 1: Adult £15; Child £6
Trains 2 and 3: Adult £18; Child £8
Train 4: Adult £16; Child £7
Children under 18 months old are free – no ticket needed - though they are not allocated a seat.
All fares include the connecting vintage London bus service from Epping Underground station, Shenfield or Ongar, a ride on a heritage steam train, a journey into Epping Forest on our diesel multiple unit, and all attractions listed above.
