The Gardens of Norwood will be open for to explore all aspects of the Estate from the Woodland Walk to the Apple Orchards. From kids crafts and activities to talks from our very own Sir John and Head Gardener Alex. Norwood is the perfect day out!

With over one hundred acres of deer parkland, adorned with ancient oaks and orchards born out of the original Bramley apple developed in Southwell in the 1840's, our quintessentially British Country House is the idyllic location for a day out.

The gardens of Norwood will be open to to explore all aspects of the Estate - from the Woodland Walk to the Apple Orchards. For the Little Walkers there will be an activity trail along with craft areas: Can you help Titus find his friends? Walk along the trail and spot all the brightly coloured Highland Cows, can you find them all?

For those that are intrigued by the History of Norwood Park, why not book onto a History Tour & Talk from Sir John Starkey, his family has resided at Norwood since the 1880s - learn how the estate has transformed over the years to keep up to date with modern technology and trends. Our Head Gardener Alex will also be offering group talks & tours of the flowers beds, providing you with all the hints and tips on how to keep your gardens looking fresh all year round.

Useful Information:

Maps and details of the walks will be provided on arrival for you to trek the multiple trails for all abilities

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads

Pavements can become slippery, so please take extra care and wear suitable footwear

Please be mindful of traffic when walking along the roads

Please keep children supervised, near roads, lakes etc

Footpaths around our main facilities are mostly shingle stone, please take extra care when walking or using manual wheelchairs
