Steamship Shieldhall 70th year sailings

About

SS Shieldhall, the largest steamship still operating in UK, returns to Poole in her glorious 70th year.

A national heritage vessel operated entirely by volunteers (and a charity), she will be alongside from the evening of 8 August to 10am on 11 August.

Offering on Saturday 9th August a daytime seatrip to view Old Harry and The Needles, on Sunday 10th August a Jurassic Coast day trip and on Monday 11 August a one way sea trip to Southampton (return by coach bookable).

Experience the golden age of maritime steam by visiting the engine and boiler rooms and the teak-clad bridge while the ship is underway. Enjoy the fresh air and views or visit the enclosed saloon area for food and drink to enjoy inside or on the two spacious decks.

Alternatively wave us off or watch docking back in from the Quay - a real blast (or toot) from the past!
