About

By day, Cardiff Castle is one of Wales' busiest and most popular heritage attractions. By night, the Castle is silent and dark. On the Cardiff Castle Ghost Tour, you will make your way by torchlight through its rooms and along its staircases and passages to visit the spots where ghosts have been seen, heard and felt over the years by residents, staff and visitors over generations.

Minimum age 12 years, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult, very limited places.

Cardiff Castle Ghost Tour (STANDARD GHOST TOUR): (main house only, duration 1 hour 20 minutes minutes approximately. Please note this does involve the ascent and descent of stairs).

Ghost Tour Plus (The Cardiff Castle Ghost Tour plus a 25 minute visit to the Black Tower and Norman Keep)*.
*Please note, this involves ascent and descent of a steep flight of steps (with handrails) and should not be tackled by anyone with limited mobility or a cardio-vascular condition.
Total duration of Ghost Tour Plus is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes.
