First World War Weekend. On both Saturday and Sunday, come and find out about the kit used by First World War soldiers from a ‘Real’ Tommy Soldier courtesy of Robin Mellor from the Great War Society and on Sunday only meet Dr Jonathan Hicks, the local author of ‘The Dead of Mametz and ‘Demons Walk Among Us’. Jonathan will be giving an illustrated talk on his WW1 novels with artefacts and will also be signing copies of his books
