This year is Exeter’s 10th annual celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+) communities features citywide events, the popular rainbow flag parade from St Sidwell Centre to Exeter High Street and outdoor activities amid a friendly carnival atmosphere. Supporters are invited. Daytime events are family-friendly and include activities for children, young people and adults.
Celebrating this event RAMM has opened up the Finders Keepers Gallery from April to July. Memorabilia collected over 10 years of Exeter Pride will be on display, illustrating a decade of change and progress within the LGBT+ community. The rainbow of objects includes Tshirts, wristbands and event programmes.
RAMM as always happy to hear from the public who have a special private collection of items that they feel might be of interest for an exhibition display. Contact ramm@exeter.gov.uk for more details.
