European Heritage Days : Open Doors in Cardiff

About

Open Doors Days celebrate the architecture and heritage of Wales. Part of European Heritage Days, it offers free access to a variety of buildings, heritage sites, and events of all kinds each September. Where sites are normally charge, these are waived. Sites normally open for free offer something special in addition such as behind the scenes tours and exhibitions. This is the largest volunteer-led event in the Welsh heritage sector. This year there nearly 400 sites are taking part, and there are nearly 700 separate events. Check out participating sites in Cardiff and the region on the website.
