Come along to the Bute Park Education Centre for the lecture 'Cricket & the Bute Estate' by Andrew Hignell, Glamorgan Cricket Museum Archivist.

The lecture outlines how the Bute Estate encouraged cricket, as well as other ball sports in Cardiff with the highlight being a game in August 1874 between the Bute Household XI and the All-England Eleven on Coopers Field.
