Behind the Scenes: Archaeology - Medieval Pottery

About

Artefact Study Room: See the pottery from the site of the medieval kiln at Drybridge Park in Monmouth to find out what happens when good pots go bad. Learn how excavated pottery is sorted and catalogued and what can learn from studying ‘wasters’, or pots that were discarded when something went wrong in the kiln.
