We cater for weddings of up to 60 people. If you book your wedding with us, we offer an exclusive 15% discount for your party to stay in our five charming holiday cottages whether you book one or more of them, each located within easy walking distance of Dunvegan Castle. You have the choice of your ceremony being conducted in either the grandeur of one of Scotland’s most iconic castles, or in the tranquil surroundings of its formal gardens. Over the last 800 years, we have extended a warm Highland welcome to visitors including Sir Walter Scott, Dr Johnson, Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III, and we now look forward to welcoming you on your special day.
Scotland is well-known for its flexible bridal laws and there is no residency requirement. The Marriage Act 2002 (Scotland) allows for both civil and religious ceremonies to be performed at licensed venues. Dunvegan Castle & Gardens is registered under this Act and is recognised by the Highland Regional Council as a licensed venue for civil and religious ceremonies.
