The Tudor Songbook - LIVE from the High Great Chamber

About

Experience history through the ears of the Elizabethans, and be serenaded with the most beautiful music of the Elizabethan and Tudor era - songs that would have been enjoyed by Bess of Hardwick.

It's a gentle, uplifting programme designed to engage, relax, and bring joy to all ages, with commentary that brings the era to life.

Jay Britton is a classically trained soprano with a passion for Tudor History. Her knowledge of the period allows her to perform with a sensitivity and understanding of the history surrounding the music, whilst maintaining a high level of attention to musical details.
