The Apologists

About

In a world where we're constantly being apologised to (and not just being British and bumbling sorrys like Hugh Grant) Unlikely Productions bring a new piece, The Apologists, to The Hat Factory.

The Apologists is made up of three short plays, which between them look at the art of, expectations aligned with, and limitations of a public apology – especially when coming from a high profile woman. Performed by Australian actor Gabrielle Scawthorn, the spotlight is on our obsession for words – whether empty, truthful or even justified.

Written by Lucinda Burnett (Correspondence), Cordelia O'Neill (No Place for a Woman) and Iskandar Sharazuddin (The Lift of Cardboard) and performed by acclaimed Australian actor Gabrielle Scawthorn (The Doctor Blake Mysteries, The Killing Fields, Village Bike).

Running Time: 70 minutes (no interval)In a world where we're constantly being apologised to (and not just being British and bumbling sorrys like Hugh Grant) Unlikely Productions bring a new piece, The Apologists, to The Hat Factory.
