Lorraine Conkey organiser of Walking Street said,

" We are delighted to restart Stafford Walking Street again, our first Walking Street was back in 2019 when we had 8,000 attend and subsequent months thousands more attended, while we were under restrictions through covid we kept on going when we could, keeping to all the restrictions set with no issues thankfully, with the help of covid grants from Staffordshire Community Foundation and Stafford Borough Council.
We are delighted we can all get back to some semblance of normality and have the chance to meet up with friends and family in the open air and enjoys some great music in a concert environment with plenty of food and drinks to add to the fabulous atmosphere. The support from many of the businesses all over the town is fantastic with so many displaying our poster on their premises.
We have hired toilets which will be situated in Market Street and Branded Bargains have generously offered to welcome those wanting to use their convenience in store. Many of the town centre pubs and clubs have special offers on the day as well as entertainment and retail shops who are staying open later we have posted up on our Facebook page "
