Sarum Lights: Lost Worlds

About

This November, Salisbury Cathedral will once again be transformed by light and sound with the premiere of Sarum Lights: Lost Worlds. Taking you on a journey through history, this brand-new theme explores the ancient cultures and societies lost in the sands of time.

The Cathedral's West Front will come alive with spectacular imagery from the ancient civilisations of Europe, while the cloisters will be illuminated with cave paintings and intricate patterns drawn from early cultures. Inside the Cathedral, light and sound will transport you from the Garden of Eden to the Middle Ages of the Church. Legendary lost worlds, from Atlantis to Troy, will also come to life in breathtaking displays of colour and motion.

Accompanied by an original score, this new sound and light spectacular will reveal this iconic Cathedral in a whole new light.
