About

Celebrating the museum's collection links with the Royal Society. The Royal Society is a Fellowship of the world's most eminent scientists and is the oldest scientific academy in continuous existence. Amongst its Fellows and Foreign Members, who are elected for life on the basis of scientific excellence, are Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, Ernest Rutherford, Albert Einstein, Dorothy Hodgkin, Francis Crick, James Watson and Stephen Hawking. Today there are approximately 1,500 Fellows and Foreign Members, including more than 70 Nobel Laureates.
