Queen's Jubilee at Hever Castle & Gardens

About

QUEEN’S JUBILEE: 2-5 JUNE

Where better to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee than the home of two former queens of England.

Come and celebrate the Queen and her 70 year reign in the beautiful grounds of Hever Castle. A whole of host of celebratory activities will be taking place over the weekend including a jewel hunt and Queen’s trail in the Castle.

Glimpse a replica of Her Majesty’s Imperial State Crown in the Castle. Loaned by the Ancestors Group and created by Crowns and Regalia in Dover, England.

See if you can find the Queen’s precious Corgis and spot what mischief they are getting up to as part of a free Corgi Trail in the grounds.

Enjoy a selection of fete games with a chocolaty treat for the winners (dairy free option available).

Take part in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Beacon Trail, an augmented reality experience from High Street Safari, where players visit 7 characters that have come to life from Buckingham Palace and are visiting Hever Castle on a day out. Scan QR codes to engage with the story and answer questions to choose how it progresses. You’ll also get to learn about a different decade in Her Majesty’s 70 year reign from each character. Finally, you’ll also be able to engage with the characters as they come to life in AR. Once you’ve collected all 7 stamps you’ll be rewarded with the conclusion to the adventure and be able to take selfies with digital prize badges ‘pinned’ to yourself.

It isn’t a celebration without food, so, bring your own party food and take part in Hever’s own ‘street party’ style picnic fit for royalty, or purchase some mouthwatering treats from the on-site Cafés, BBQ, Pizza Van, or selection of concessions
