Peach Party

About

There are marvellous events planned at Cardiff libraries to celebrate one of Cardiff’s most
famous sons, renowned storyteller Roald Dahl.

Roald Dahl Day takes place each year on September 13, the author’s birthday.
This year’s event is extra special as it marks the 50th anniversary of James and the Giant
Peach.

To celebrate, a ‘Peach Party’ will be taking place at Llandaff North Library on Saturday,
September 10 between 10am and noon. Children up to the age of 12 can enjoy a host of fun
activities, crafts and a treasure hunt, plus a few of Roald Dahl’s famous characters will be
stopping by.
