Find out about the exciting events celebrating the life of Jane Austen, who lived in the village of Chawton near Alton, that will take place during 2017, the 200th anniversary of her death. There are talks, guided walks, exhibitions and other events, culminating in the Jane Austen Regency Week in June.

Come along to the Town Hall on 28 March between 11 and 2 to enjoy local refreshments, hear readings and pick up information.

Free to attend, this is an English Tourism Week event.
