About

Stained-glass windows! Come and appreciate the creative art and stories in our stained-glass windows and other symbols in the church.

We invite you to come and enjoy our stained-glass windows in more detail, including the large window behind the altar which captures the crucifixion. Who are the people on either side and what is the meaning of the symbols in the windows above?

A side window depicts St Francis of Assisi. Who was he and what symbols in this picture tell his story? What is the Candlemass window about? Can you find the nativity window? With a self-guided tour and a quiz, there is plenty to explore.

There will be people on hand to answer questions and help you enjoy the experience. There will also be activities for children, including making your own "stained glass window" using craft materials and a fun quiz for primary-aged children.

Refreshments and homemade cakes will be served throughout the event, so make sure you enjoy the hospitality as well.
