On Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August, Global Local presents a gig theatre performance of Hero & Leander, Or, I Love You, But Everything's Under Water.
Sing, dance and cry your way through this bittersweet outdoor theatre show, featuring six multi-instrumentalists telling an epic seaside tale through songs encompassing folk, indie, sea shanties and choral music. Lovers Hero & Leander are separated by more than just an ocean. Can the gods intervene in time to prevent disaster?
To complement the show there will also be live music from Emsickle, a diverse and multi-talented singer, songwriter and Ukeleliest from Torquay. She'll be gracing the Banjo stage with her soft, soulful vocals infused with the nimble seaside sounds of her Ukelele, this is a set not to be missed.
