Discover the woodland garden at Eythrope this February.
The woodland garden at Eythrope was developed from informal pleasure grounds in the mid-18th century. Alice de Rothschild made improvements to the garden, adding the boathouse, ornamental rock work and influencing the planting schemes including the Snowdrops. Snowdrops (Galanthus) are a welcome sight in the winter months as they herald the arrival of spring. Translating to 'milk white flower', keep a look out for drifts of snowdrops in the gardens. More recently spring bulbs and winter flowering shrubs have been added to create a truly inspiring winter walk.
Visits to this private parkland and woodland garden are accompanied by Eythrope's garden guides and last approximately 60 minutes. Following your tour enjoy a delicious two course lunch in the Manor Restaurant at Waddesdon Manor. You will also get grounds admission to Waddesdon included in your ticket.
Tours run Wed-Fri from 14-23 Feb at 10.15am. We recommend booking in advance.
