Caleb Hedgeland’s model of Georgian Exeter has long been one of RAMM’s most popular objects. It depicts every building in a city tightly packed within its ancient walls. The 2016 fire in the Cathedral Yard has reawakened interest in Exeter’s historic buildings.
Dr Todd Gray MBE will explore the accuracy of the model as a guide to Exeter in the late 1700s and the buildings which have miraculously survived the recent fire. After the talk, there will be a book signing and an opportunity to chat with the author.
