The Lycetts Grantham Cup will be running across the weekend, with some of the Country's top Horse & Rider Combinations fighting it out to win this prestigious title. Former Winners of the Grantham Cup been Badminton Winners and Olympic Medalists. This year, the Lycetts Grantham Cup will be culminating on Saturday 29th March.
The weekend is lining up to be packed full of entertainment for all the family! There is something for everyone including your four legged friends. You can enjoy our Classic Car displays, Gun Dog Scurry, Vintage Tractors, Dog Show and Kids in the Courtyard for your little ones, and much more.
The Eventing Spring Carnival is bringing something for the whole family! Thoresby Courtyard will be filled with entertainment for your little ones, which include Sherwood Outlaws, Climbing Wall, Face Painters, Inflatables including a Bouncy Castle, and delicious food options from the Coffee Shop in the Courtyard. Alongside all of this, as parents, you can enjoy the array of shops within the Courtyard and keep the children entertained all in one go!
Sunday 30th March will see the great Thoresby Mother's Day treasure hunt. For just £3 per child, they can follow the treasure hunt around the site with a sweet treat at the end! New for 2025 is the big prize! All families who take part in the treasure hunt will go into a draw to win a big prize, which will include a week's stay away with family fun, food and entertainment all included.
Brand new for 2025, international hobby horse competition is coming to the eventing spring carnival! Hobby Horse Adventures will be hosting the first international hobby horse competition in the UK! Alongside the international competition, there will also be a clear round event for anyone to have a go. The aim of the competition is for everyone to have a great time and enjoy the exciting nature of hobby horsing!
Accessibility – The Eventing Spring Carnival, at Thoresby Park, offers access for all with disabled parking areas close to the heart of the event.
