Iford Manor Gardens

About

What better way to start off your weekend than with a private guided tour of Iford Manor Gardens (max group size 12)?

Uncover its many secrets and anecdotal stories as the garden’s famous design reveals the deeper history of Iford, whose history continues to be written to this day.

Usually reserved only for pre-booked groups, William Cartwright-Hignett will lead a private evening tour for individuals to book onto. Starting at 5pm on a Friday, when the golden evening light gleams across the garden, enjoy this exclusive experience, rounding off the visit with a glass of Nyetimber on the terrace, enjoying views across the Iford Valley and an opportunity to meet with the family and ask further questions. Finish by 7pm.

Tickets £27.50 plus booking fee. https://www.seetickets.com/event/evening-garden-tour-with-owner-glass-of-nyetimber/iford-manor/1387525

Recent review on Tripadvisor:
I took a group of 33 adults for a guided tour given by the owner. What a wonderful experience. The garden is stunning and the owner an inspiring and enthusiastic guide. We were all impressed by how well the garden was maintained and by the love and care put in by generations of the same family. It is a truly magical place and does not appear contrived in any way. The garden gives the feeling of being part of the landscape and not being made by human hand. We were all transported to Italy that morning and we will never forget the experience.”
