Get up-close to nature, and discover that there's much more to wetlands than meets the eye. Take expert-guided walk to explore the secret lives of dragonflies. Create a dragonfly masterpiece in a creative workshop. Or go pond dipping to discover the wonderful world of minibeasts living below the surface – there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Festival goers, young and young-at-heart can come together and celebrate the long summer days. Head to our festival hub in WWT Slimbridge's visitor centre, to find out what's on during your visit and mark the start of your great adventure. Colourful flags fly high and welcome you into the vibrant festival atmosphere.

And don't miss the headliners! For the ultimate memory-making moments this summer, dart down for special events. The festival line-up includes special themed weekends throughout the school summer holidays including Circus Spectacular, Dragonfly Discovery, Wellness and Wellbeing, Music and Dance, Poetry and Storytelling, as well as Arts and Crafts.

All of this festival fun will unfold against the backdrop of WWT Slimbridge's spectacular wetlands, offering a safe haven for an array of dragonflies and damselflies.
