On Sunday June 8th 2025 we are holding a special day to celebrate our Ferns and we invite visitors to view our National Collection of Hardy Ferns; Dryopteris and Polystichums. The day will showcase our ferns at their best with fern and plants in our courtyard and cream teas avaiable in the cafe. Normal admission price applies.
Fern Talks
For those interested in a guided fern talk with fern specialist Julian Reed, this unique experience will take place at 10:30 am and 11.30 am and costs £15 per person, which includes admission to the estate.
Spaces are limited and this is a truly special opportunity, so we highly recommend booking in advance. There's no need to purchase a separate admission ticket — your fern talk ticket covers everything.
Please arrive promptly at your selected time. Please note that the guided walk includes ascending 90 Victorian steps into our Fern Garden, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.
For more information on accessibility, please call us on 01647 252434
