Since lockdown we've had so many requests to do a day party we've lost count!
When we were approached and asked to do an outdoor day party in Longton, as you can imagine, us old skoolers here at BITD couldn't say no! We've shared so many special memories in this old town over 30 years ago now and feel it's about time we relived some in the town that birthed rave culture for many of us.
We've enlisted the DJ services of some of the 90s best known party animals and connoisseurs in the shape of the mighty Alex P & Allister Whitehead alongside Longton's most famous DJ son, Pete Bromley!
If that wasn't enough we have DJ support from 2 of the city's most popular retro faces Bobs Disco & Darren Harvey which should give us the ingredients for a very special day and evening party at Aynsley Mill.
So many of us have had literal withdrawal symptoms from not being able to go on holiday (particularly Ibiza!) so the theme was chosen for us, hence heading straight for Alex & Allister who have played in Ibiza more times than most over the last 30+ years!
So get your dancing shoes out (and hopefully some sun lotion!) and we'll see you on bank holiday Sunday May 1st!
