An Introduction to the Gospel of Mark

About

Prepare for Advent and the new Church year by exploring the book from which most Sunday morning gospel readings will be taken in 2024.

Mark's gospel was once derided as short and late. It is now acknowledged to be the earliest life of Jesus and so vital to our understanding of his life and mission. This evening will consider the structure of Mark and its core themes – secrecy and proclamation, exorcism and conflict, faith, and doubt.

Entry is free but places are limited so prior booking is essential. If the maximum number is reached, please join the waiting list and we may run a repeat session.

Please note that parking is not available at Sarum College.
